Thank you for your interest in joining the South Carolina State Guard. You are now taking the first step towards building a future of service for our state and for yourself. The training you will receive will become a valuable asset for personal growth and potential advancement in your civilian career.
First, we will need some basic information about you and must receive the completed forms back from you. Once we receive them, we will reach out to you by the contact information you provided. The initial forms are in a .PDF format and will require a signature where indicated. IMPORTANT: You must use the Adobe Acrobat Reader application (it is free) to fill out these forms and the additional forms our recruiter will send after we review and approve your initial information. If you don’t already have it, you can download Adobe Acrobat Reader HERE (download Adobe Reader) (Note: Be sure to deselect the to check boxes on the lower part of the Adobe download site. You will not need the two suggested applications).

Your Birth Certificate or Non-Expired Passport
Driver’s License (front only)
High School Diploma/GED
Highest level of College Completed (if applicable)
If prior federal military service, submit a copy of Member Two or Service Four copy of DD214, DD214-1, NGB22, or the Final Record of Service.
If prior State Guard/Defense Force, include your discharge orders.
